A Free Compatibility Report or Test You Can Do Anytime

Posted by admin on December 28th, 2008

Finding the right person for serious relationships or even potential life partner is not an easy task. But there are known steps to take to improve your chances. I have come up with an easy 3-scale compatibility report or test anyone can use, anytime, on anyone you are dating or getting to know.

Without going into extreme details in this post, I will attempt to present this simple system and the basics of how it works for now. In a nutshell, there are 3 scales to evaluate when it comes to finding the right person. 1) physical attraction, 2) personality match, and 3) compatibility of backgrounds, family and aspirations in life, etc. Now, I’m not advocating assigning actual numbers to each scale when you use the scale, but rather, being conceptually aware of whether a potential mate is relatively strong or weak in each of the three areas. You may assign actual numbers to each scale if you like, and see how it works, but I just use it conceptually.

Here’s how this would work in helping you evaluate whether a person you are dating or plan to date would have long term potential. Each scale can be assigned a numerical value, say 1-10, with 10 being the highest. And basically, depending on how “easy” on the grading system you are, you may want a total of say, roughly 21 as a minimum. So essentially you’re saying a passing grade is someone who is 7 on the looks/physical attraction scale, 8 on the personality scale, and 7 one the background matching scale. Keep in mind that a 7 can mean different things to different people, but for the sake of our example, we’ll just say that it means it’s pretty good in your mind.

Now with our hypothetical mate scoring a passing 22 total, with a “heart/feel check” on top of it, meaning if everything also “feels” right, this person should be fully qualified for further, more serious dating.

Now, let’s say person number two is a knockout in your mind, with a 9 on the physical attraction/looks scale, but his personality is only a 6 (not super interesting/funny, but at least not a jerk/player), which is not too great, but not terrible, and his background scale is a decent 7, with a total of the same 22, this might still work. Basically what you’re saying is that, if good looks or hotness is important to you (most people would not mind), then by having a gorgeous guy with a 9 on your hotness scale, you are willing to put up with his un-Seinfield ways, which you don’t mind learning to deal with because with the right person, you can possibly develop your own humor, etc. You see what I’m getting at here?

So in conclusion, no matter how technical you make this 3-scale system out to be, the key thing is to have some form of it operating in your background, at least conceptually, and I hope you’ll find that while no one is perfect, often times you’ll find a keeper because they have the right balance of the scales and an acceptable total. What that looks like will look different from person to person, and is entirely up to you. Now go out there and take control of your own life, and make good decisions about who to date, now that you are armed with this simple, yet powerful compatibility test you can do anytime, with anyone.

Just remember not to tell the other person what numbers you think they are in your mind. I don’t think that will turn out too well. lol. ;)

Free Compatibility Reports for Dating

You are here because you are interested in finding a compatible mate or date. Generally speaking, there are actually two types of compatibility. Astrological (horoscope/zodiac) compatibility and personality (scientific) compatibility.

Now, whether you believe in astrology or not, there’s no denying that many people out there (especially women) do, so knowing the fundamentals of this subject will help you understand what your potential mates/dates might be looking for or expecting, and know how to respond/react accordingly. For example, for an astrology buff who believes all Sagittarius people are players, if you are a Sagittarius who is loyal, you might want to reassure her of your loyal/devoted ways by demonstrating certain, non-player traits, etc.

By reading basic compatibility reports such as those found on our site and many others out there, you can begin to understand this fascinating field of astrological compatibility, and improve your dating life and romantic future!

The other type of compatibility report is the more scientific and in-depth personality tests and reports. Typically, you would find these on reputable online dating sites that requires you to fill out a series of trait/tendency identifying questions and in turn they will come up with some kind of compatibility percentages when comparing to another member you might be interested in. A high percentage of compatibility in certain areas means that you will tend to get along better in those areas.

It’s wise to have both types of compatibility reports and tests between you and the person you might be interested in before you date. This will avoid wasted time as well as help you improve your positive traits while keeping in check your negative traits!
