Death tarot card in “love” spread keeps popping up. I have no man in my life so what does that mean?
Kanji asked:
Let me start by saying I am a Scorpio (which I know is associated with this card). When I do spreads on my love life I keep getting the Death card in the near future position. The outcome is always something good, though- 10 of Pentacles, or Ace of Cups. It’s just peculiar because if Death means the “ending” what am I ending? Am I ending dating horrible guys and being unhappy with them? I am divorced but that happened months back. This one guy stood me up last night – again. I am so fed up with guys I am just about to give up. Maybe that’s what the Death card means? What are your thoughts?
I forgot to add that that card keeps popping up in my spreads again and again and again – at least 3 times recently and always in the near future position.

The death card right side up means change, the way it is is ending and something new is coming.

the death card does not always mean death. it has the meanings of change, transition, termination and inevitability. i think it means there is gonna be a change in your love life soon…

The tarot cards are telling you to get into chicks. Yeah, that’s it.
You seem really fond of “spreads” and said it yourself that you’re ready to give up on guys.
Obey the Tarot and seek thee out thine lover of the fairer sex. Oh see, I made it sound all mystical and old school. It must be true.

Death represents a deep personal change, or the ending of a certain mindset. Maybe you unconsciously go after men who are emotionally unavailable, and you are going to have an epiphany regarding your choices in the near future, or something along those lines?

It means something is going to happen
Is that vague enough to be true?

It means you are superstitious and irrational.

Be wary of tarot cards, for how do you know if that is the devils work instead? I pray that you find peace instead. Do not be deceived by these cards that claim to foretell the future. You create the future and have your own destiny by the choices and actions you make. No card is determined to foreshadow your rights to love. Good luck. You will find true love, and meditate that you are able to give and receive love. Bless you

The Death card signifies endings and changes. Since your single, and this card keeps coming up for the near future, it could mean that your single-hood might be coming to an end.

It means you do not shuffle cards very well.
Put down the cards, go volunteer to feed the poor, visit the sick and elderly, or clean up the environment and find someone who shares similar values.

Your divorce, which is the ending of that relationship, is affecting your current love life. You have to move away from your thoughts and feeling you have of mistrust and disappointment because these things are affecting your current desire to find another person you can rely on. Be upbeat and daring in your future relationships. You may not have had enough time to get over your last relationship and that is why it is affecting your current ones.

death doesn’t mean ending. this is from my tarot card book
“The skeleton is symbolism for the inner self as well as a durable part of the physical self
Transformation, change, which is a blessing in disguise. A clearing out which will make way for something better. Harsh fate which does not consider personal feelings. Very, very occasionally does the cars signify death; more usually it means a major change in life
Reversed: An enforced change, a removal of something that should have been given up. The loss of a friendship”

It sounds like it means major change. “Death” is a transitional card also, and is not necessarily a sign of an “ending”. Although, with any transition there is an ending of the old and a new beginning.
Your cards sound like you have an exciting time ahead!

…because it’s time to start depending on YourSelf instead of ‘men,’ no offense to men, for your own happiness and well being. It’s time to discover YOU. It’s time to befriend YourSelf, and be the best you can be at being YOU.
This is the opportunity that the highest part of yourself has been waiting for – with open arms…all for You.
It’s time to close the door on men for a while and concentrate on your own Truth. Get to know yourself, embrace what ever you may consider to be shortcomings and deal with them successfully and lovingly.
Take adversity by the hand and lead it, instead of allowing ‘it’ to lead you.
Begin to see the humor, as well as the invaluable lessons, that many circumstances in Life present to us. To let in more Light, you must first Lighten up on yourself.
Your Love for Life will elevate once you let go of having to know the outcome of every circumstance. Tell Life that you Trust it to bring you what ever it is you will need to ’skillfully’ grow and develop and watch what happens….
Wake up and give Life a great big hug every morning…
Free yourself and let go.
Having complete control of your emotions at the same time…
There is ‘involved’ emotions, and there is ‘evolved’ emotions.

The death card in the near future of a spread concerning love indicates there will be a loss of love, usually a loved one, in the life of the person involved.

The Death card symbolizes spiritual transformation and clearing the path for something new to enter your life. It is time to remove any dead wood that no longer serves you and is holding you back. If you have any regrets or anger or attachment with respect to your previous relationship, you need to let it go to make space for a new love. Nature hates a vacuum, and will work to fill it.
