I used to be with an Aquarius, which is supposedly the best match for me (I’m a Gemini), and now I’m dating a Pisces, who Gemini’s are not supposed to be very good with, and I’ve been with him for 3.5 years and I could not be happier

It’s extremely accurate and helpful, but there are very few people who actually know how to practice it correctly!!!
A real conclusion about your compatibility with another person can only be made after an astrologer has examined the way many different factors interact with one another. The most important four of these are the Ascendant (for the practical compatibility), the Moon (subjective, emotional compatibility), Venus (for compatibility of sensuality and desires), and Sun (for ideological compatibility). The effect of the other planets, especially Mars, Jupiter and Saturn on these four is also very important.
It’s really important to have a qualified astrologer do your compatibility if you really want something accurate and helpful.

Accuracy? Astrology does not like to use statistical evidence to see if the assigned stereotypes are valid. So any claims of accuracy will be pure speculation and point of view.
No one has control over when they are born. This makes astrology a bigoted concept. Just like racism and sexism. But for believers this is accepted and desired.
I used this one often. Still a favorite way to answer.
From Eric Idle’s (of Monty Python fame) book “Around the States in Eighty Days”
He wrote on day 51,

It’s very helpful and accurate enough to NOT ignore it. But it doesn’t mean that it is completely bulletproof.

well i have found it to be accurate, as far as attraction goes, i have always been instantly attracted to libra women and gemini women, which i am an aquarius and i am a good match with them astrologically, but there are alot of other factors too
